How To Update a 1.50 firmware to 5.00M33-6

Maybe some of you still have an old PSP lying around with official firmware 1.50. With Hellcat's Recovery Flasher you can upgrade this to custom firmware 5.00M33-6 very easily.

Requirements:

• an old PSP with ofw 1.50
• Hellcat's Recovery Flasher
• Official Firmware 5.00 (renamed as 500.PBP)

Let's go to work :

• Download and unzip Hellcat's Recovery Flasher on your PC
• Copy the two folders inside the FW1.50 folder
• Connect your PSP to your PC by enabling a USB connection
• Paste the two folders inside X:/PSP/GAME
• Now copy the RECOVERY folder and paste it to X:/PSP/GAME
• Copy 500.PBP to the root of your Memory Stick (= X:/)
• You can now disconnect your PSP from your computer
• On the PSP go to GAME >> Memory Stick >> Hellcat's Recovery Flasher
• Now select the option For FW 1.50 Only
• Select Install M33 CFW
  
• Select Flash new 5.00M33 and press X
• Wait for a few minutes. Et voila: cfw 5.00M33-6 is yours!
