How To Create a Magic Memory Stick

A Magic Memory Stick (= MMS) is your key to enter the world of Custom Firmware. It's not that difficult to create one.

Requirements:

• a PSP (no CFW needed)
• Rain's UltraLite MMS Maker
• Official firmware 5.00, renamed as 500.PBP
• Windows 2000, XP, Vista or W7
• a Memory Stick Pro Duo (64MB – 4GB)

Let's go to work !

• Download, unzip and rename the 5.00 OFW to 500.PBP
• Download and unzip Ultralite MMS Maker v1.2, make sure the exe file is in the same folder as 500.PBP
• Connect your PSP to your computer and enable a USB Connection
• Doubleclick the exe file of UltraLite MMS Maker (Vista and W7 user may need to select run as administrator)
• Select the correct drive letter for your PSP
• Make sure Format MS is checked
  
• Hit that Make MMS button
• You're all done now!
