By calsijnm  //  ISO / CSO  //  No Comments

If you own a PSP with custom firmware, you can play backups of your UMD's. You keep these backups on your Memory Stick. Imagine how convenient this is! You can have your PSP on the go without carrying seven UMD boxes with you

  • This is easier then you think! Trust me. Make sure a Memory Stick is inserted.
  • On the main screen of your psp (XMB) press SELECT.
  • The VSH menu appears. Set USB Device to UMD disk using < or > .

  • Put the UMD to dump in the psp UMD drive Exit the menu (press Select)
  • Go to USB connection under the system menu and press X
  • Windows Explorer opens a window with the ISO of your UMD.
  • Copy and paste the file to your PC.
  • When finished, go back to the VSH menu and set USB Device back to Memory Stick
  • To play your ISO, copy and paste the file to your Memory stick in the ISO folder.
  • If you want to play your ISO file without a UMD inserted then go back to your VSH menu and select SONY MP9660 as UMD ISO MODE.
  • You can select your game by GAME >> MEMORY STICK on your XMB
